Our jewelry is made from urban salvaged wood. We take big slabs and turn it into tiny little pieces of jewelry.

We make our pieces using a combination of traditional woodworking skills and laser work. We aim to be the cool bits of "old school" and techie.

Who Was
O. Sophronia?
Orange Sophronia (aka. Great, Great Aunt Frone) was born in 1905 and became an independent, highly-spirited, creative woman who loved to laugh, drank bourbon, and liked horse racing.
She drove around Boulder, Colorado in the late 1920's in a Model T Ford pickup with a shotgun in the back window (to keep the men who were attempting to woo her on their toes). She got divorced three times--back when that was super scandalous--and ended up falling in love with Uncle Walter, whom she lovingly called "Ole' Creepin' Jesus."

She was chic. She was saucy. She loved natural things. She loved making things with her hands. Her humor was dry and full of sass.

She is our inspiration and this company is meant to celebrate and embody her verve.
We're capturing all of her good vibes--and our favorite things--in these collections: History. Badass women. Woodworking. Music. Lots of laughter. Plus a little bit of tech.
Straight up, we aim to amplify your life in the same way Great, Great Aunt Frone lit up a room: adding some beauty, natural charm, and some sauciness to boot.
O. Sophronia, the company, is a small business located in the foothills of California’s Sierra Nevada mountains.
