All of our cork + wood earrings are interactive! The Emmeline Collection interactive experience includes a curated Spotify playlist designed to inspire and embolden you, featuring artists like: Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Rachel Platten, Amy Winehouse, and more.

 

You can also listen to a short guided meditation made to encourage and affirm your awesomeness, offering a moment of calm and introspection to your day.

 

Additionally, you’ll also get to learn about a badass woman of history, find out where the wood came from, enjoy inspirational quotes, and more. We’ll continue to add to your experience over time, creating opportunities to grow and experience the world in different ways.

All of our earrings are approximately 1/8 inch thick.
 

Wood: All of our jewelry is made from wood sourced from small urban sawmills, primarily English Walnut from Urban Wood Rescue in Sacramento, CA. Typically, when trees are removed from urban areas, the logs get sent to the landfill. We work with urban sawmills to make sure that beautiful wood from those logs doesn’t go to waste! Our wood starts as large live-edge slabs, we mill them into thin sheets ourselves, then sand, laser cut/engrave, and finish the earrings by hand.

 

Ear wires: Our ear wires are hand bent using 22-gauge sterling silver headpins.

 

Inlay: The beautiful colored inlays are made from cork fabric. Cork is a sustainable product made from the bark of a specific type of oak tree. We source our cork fabric directly from manufacturers in Portugal and small resellers in the USA.

 

Care: Avoid getting your earrings wet (even when finished, wood tends to move and twist when it gets saturated). Also, because we use sterling silver for our ear wires, you may see some tarnishing over time. Just wipe them down with a polishing rag and they’ll look good as new.

Shipping: Orders will be shipped within 2-4 business days. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number when your order is processed (be sure to check your spam in case it gets filtered from your inbox).

 

We use USPS and currently only ship domestically (check back soon for international shipping). 

 

Returns/Exchanges: We want everyone to be happy with their purchase and will accept returns if you’re not completely satisfied. We have a 14-day return policy (from the delivery date) and all products must be unworn and returned in the condition it arrived, including original packaging. Once inspected, we will refund the item purchased, minus shipping costs.
